Grace Health celebrates CMA class graduation

Twenty-eight Grace Health employees, from all over the health group’s network of facilities, recently attended a pinning ceremony on June 22 for becoming Certified Clinical Medical Assistants.

Twenty-eight Grace Health employees were recognized on June 22, 2018 at a pinning ceremony for going the extra mile by becoming Certified Clinical Medical Assistants (CCMAs).

“These employees worked full-time in addition to taking weekly classes and a national exam to become certified clinical medical assistants. At Grace Health, we recognize the impact that these CCMAs will have on our patients and on our community and are proud to publicly recognize all of their efforts,” said Grace Health Chief Executive Officer Michael Stanley.

In celebration of their achievements Stanley and Kim Bingham, Senior Director of Human Resources, presented each graduate with a certificate, a CCMA pin and a Grace University pin.

“Grace Health believes in and encourages our employees to be the best they can be for our patients, for our clinics and for our communities. Our hope is to encourage other employees to become students of Grace University where we will continue to grow in knowledge and in ability to better serve the people of our area with Christ-centered care” concluded Stanley. While the national pass rate has been only 78 percent for the past three months, Grace Health is proud of the 99 percent pass rate with scores above the 90th percentile in Customer Service, Patient Care Coordination and General Patient Care.

Kim Bingham expressed how proud she is of all the graduates and the investment that Grace Health places in its employees. Grace Health will continue to offer educational courses to employees allowing them to positively impact their own lives as well as our communities.
