The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 19, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt.

Joshua Gilmore, 1981, violation of federal safety regulations on hours of service for drivers. Fines paid in full.

Dennis Lee, 1969, alcohol intoxication. Fined $25, $133 court costs.

Robert Medlin, 1968, alcohol intoxication. Fined $25, $133 court costs.

Jesus Sands, 1994, disregarding traffic control device, driving on a suspended/revoke license, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, no driving until legal, fined $625, $450 probated, $133 court costs.

Jenny Seiber, 1966, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, to pay restitution for damages of $5,025.68 plus percent fee, $133 court costs.

Victor Smith, 1998, reckless driving, no motorcycle license, no insurance, no registration plates. Fined $575, $450 probated, $133 court costs.

Johnny Taylor, 1953, disregarding traffic control device. To attend state traffic school, $133 court costs.

Micheal Walters, 1989, no insurance. Fined $500, $450 probated, $133 court costs.

Earl Jackson, 1976, terroristic threatening. Sentenced to 12 months in jail, serve 30 days, no contact with complaining witness, $133 court costs.

Misty Johnson, 1981, motion to revoke bond granted.

Brandelyn Kidd, 1986, theft under $500. Sentenced to 6 months in jail, serve 7 days, balance probated, to stay out of Kroger, $163 court costs.

Stanley Kidd, 1986, theft under $500. Sentenced to 6 months in jail, to serve 7 days, balance probated, to stay out of Kroger, $163 court costs.

William North, 1980, theft under $500, criminal mischief. Sentenced to 12 months in jail, to serve 6 months, balance probated, $500 restitution to Lisa Leach, $133 court costs.

Jarrod Tiravanti, 1982, alcohol intoxication. Fined $25, $133 court costs.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 20, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt.

Jason Vance, 1964, alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, probated, fined $150, $163 court costs.

Bobbie Smith, DUI. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, probated, fined $200, license suspended for 90 days, to attend DUI classes, $538 court costs.

Denver Nicely III, 1970, possession of marijuana, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $550, $450 probated, $133 court costs.

Brandon Pennington, 1961, improper passing. Fines paid in full.

Aaron Baker, 1993, fleeing or evading police. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, $163 court costs.

Nora Coleman, 1953, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $500, $450 probated, to pay any restitution is owed, $133 court costs.

Christine Crabtree, 1974, no insurance. Fined $500, $133 court costs.

Tyler Herrell, 1991, terroristic threatening. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, no contact with victim or victim’s family.

Earl Jackson, 1976, terroristic threatening. Sentenced to 6 months in jail, probated, no contact with complaining witness, $163 court costs.

William Mitchell, 1968, asssault, reckless driving. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $100, $163  court costs.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 27, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt

Tara Sasser, 1987, contempt of court for failure to complete rehabilitation. Sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 28, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Fred F. White.

Kerry Hendricks, 1997, criminal mischief. Sentenced to 12 months in jail, probated, to pay restitution to landlord, to seek psychiatric treatment, court costs.

Miranda Huddleston, 1991. Six months to serve.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 2:

Colin Oaks, no/expired other state registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card – $525 fine of which all but $75 is probated, plus court costs.

James Sawyers, born in 1983, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $150 fine plus court costs.

James M. Sawyers, born in 1983, rear license not illuminated, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $75 fine plus court costs.

Johnny E. Mullis – $50 fine plus court costs.

Betty Bray, born in 1981, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, stay out of Williamsburg Wal-Mart.

Tammy L. Claxton, born in 1990, second-degree fleeing or evading police – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Joshua Douglas, born in 1988, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – six-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 60 days are served, credit 57 days already served, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.
