The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 26, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Fred F. White.

Anna Jessee, 1988, contempt of court. Conditionally discharged time revoked, to serve 90 days or pay restitution.

Denver Nicely III, 1970, possession of marijuana, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $550, $450 probated, $133 court costs.

Brandon Pennington, 1961, improper passing. Fines paid in full.

Aaron Baker, 1993, fleeing or evading police. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, $163 court costs.

Jessica Birchfield, 1994. Shock probation granted.

Nora Coleman, 1953, no insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $500, $450 probated, to pay any restitution is owed, $133 court costs.

Christine Crabtree, 1974, no insurance. Fined $500, $133 court costs.

Tyler Herrell, 1991, terroristic threatening. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, no contact with victim or victim’s family.

Earl Jackson, 1976, terroristic threatening. Sentenced to 6 months in jail, probated, no contact with complaining witness, $163 court costs.

William Mitchell, 1968, asssault, reckless driving. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, probated, fined $100, $163  court costs.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 27, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Cathy E. Prewitt

Tara Sasser, 1987, contempt of court for failure to complete rehabilitation. Sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The following cases were heard in Whitley District Court in Corbin April 28, 2016 by Whitley District Judge Fred F. White.

Kerry Hendricks, 1997, criminal mischief. Sentenced to 12 months in jail, probated, to pay restitution to landlord, to seek psychiatric

treatment, court costs.

Miranda Huddleston, 1991. Six months to serve.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 2:

Colin Oaks, no/expired other state registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card – $525 fine of which all but $75 is probated, plus court costs.

James Sawyers, born in 1983, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $150 fine plus court costs.

James M. Sawyers, born in 1983, rear license not illuminated, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $75 fine plus court costs.

Johnny E. Mullis – $50 fine plus court costs.

Betty Bray, born in 1981, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, stay out of Williamsburg Wal-Mart.

Tammy L. Claxton, born in 1990, second-degree fleeing or evading police – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Joshua Douglas, born in 1988, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – six-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 60 days are served, credit 57 days already served, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

Travis Drury, born in 1979, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Ginger Hill Goins, born in 1986, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

John Head, born in 1967, obstructed vision and/or windshield – $25 fine plus court costs.

Jesse Johnson, born in 1996, facility to commit receiving stolen property – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Johnny Wayne Johnson, born in 1978, second-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 10 days already served, operator’s license suspended for 12 months, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $350 fine plus fees and costs.

Loren Dean Johnson, born in 1957, controlled substance prescription not in original container – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit eight days already served, plus court costs.

Amanda D. Lambdin, born in 1984, prescription not in proper container – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Kevin Joseph Llewellyn, born in 1990 – motion for shock probation denied but once restitution is paid defendant can file motion again.

Tracy Renee Llewellyn, born in 1987, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit one day already served, $100 fine plus court costs.

Lori Mattie, born in 1980, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.

Patricia A. Norris, born in 1976, controlled substance prescription not in original container – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, must attend two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly.

Saisha Powers, born in 1990, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, $100 fine plus court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

Tonya S. Roark, born in 1973, possession of drug paraphernalia – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Jennifer Sutton, born in 1986 – motion for shock probation granted, must attend two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly.

Amber Danielle Lively, born in 1986, failure to report child dependency, neglect or abuse – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 76 days already served, plus court costs.

Sarah Lively, born in 1974, failure to report child dependency, neglect or abuse – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 74 days already served, plus court costs.

Terry Allen Mitchell, born in 1988, no operator’s/moped license – $25 fine plus court costs.

Melissa Norman, born in 1973, alcohol intoxication – $100 fine plus court costs.

Tony Spradlin – $25 fine.

Daniel Jones, born in 1985, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seatbelts, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required auto insurance – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $650 fine of which all but $200 is probated, plus court costs.
