Whitley deputies answered 1,371 complaints in April

The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department has reported its activity for the month of April.

During April, deputies answered 1,371 complaints and investigated 35 vehicle collisions.

In addition, deputies investigated 36 criminal cases and made 116 criminal arrests.

For the first four months of 2019, the sheriff’s department has answered a total of 5,321 complaints, investigated 132 wrecks, and made 441 arrests.
