W’burg Police searching for fugitive find marijuana plants
A tip led Williamsburg Police to apprehend two suspects Wednesday evening pertaining to alleged drug activity and a possible fugitive on Sally Branch Road.
According to information released, officers discovered six Marijuana plants growing in buckets inside the residence of 192 Sally Branch Road after performing a consensual search.
48-year-old Johnny Lawson was arrested at the scene and charged with cultivating marijuana over 5 plants.
Officers remained in the area and responded to another residence in the 200 block where a fugitive was believed to be located. Upon searching the residence, officers found 25-year-old Tabitha A. Harmon.
Harmon was wanted on a Whitley County warrant for first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (second offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Lawson and Harmon were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center without incident.
