Velma J. Tuttle
Velma Jean Tuttle, 74, of White House, TN departed this life on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Alive Hospice Center in Murfreesboro.
She was born on July 12, 1944 in Lynch, KY to the late Floyd and Ester (Ramey) Wilson.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Delbert Tuttle and a sister, Judy Parks.
Velma was very proud of her family and was a wonderful “Granny” to all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching daytime soap operas.
She is survived by her sons, Stuart Tuttle of White House, TN and Michael Tuttle (Sharon) of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Jessica Warrick (Mike), Amber Johnson (Richard), Amanda Stidd, Laura Rhea and Corey Rhea (Magen); nine great-grandchildren, Taylor Escue, Brent Escue, Jaylyn Warrick, Natalie Warrick, Jayden Rhea, Jordan Rhea, Addison Myers, TJ Myers and Emma Rhea; two brothers, John Wilson and Don Wilson (Suzy) of Florida; sisters, Sue Attkisson of Indiana and Bea Reeves (Ralph) of Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Saturday, May 4, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Emlyn Cemetery.
