Sara E. Hall
Sara E. Hall, 94, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Suites at Walnut Creek surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 14, 1924 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Rev. Roscoe & Lida (Jones) Mayfield.
Mrs. Hall graduated from The University of Dayton; she was a teacher for C.F. Holiday School in West Carrollton with over 25 years of service; and was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Hall in 2008, her son Norman J. Hall in 2003, grandson Greg Hall, great grandson Jeremy Rich, sisters Cora Henderson, Flora Runyon, Joie Cooper and three infant sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Linda R. Kaufman and husband Wayne, daughter-in-law Nola Hall, five grandchildren Norman D. (Cristal) Hall, Cynthia (Keith) Hughes, Brett (Jill) Kaufman, Nicholas (Kelly) Kaufman, and Deni Profitt; eight great grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
The funeral service was held Saturday, June 23, at the First Baptist Church, 705 S. Elm Street, West Carrollton with Pastor Scott Wells officiating.
A graveside service was held immediately following visitation at Croley Funeral Home on Sunday, June 24th at the Highland Park Cemetery Davis addition in Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Mrs. Hall’s memory.
