Sam H. Watson Jr.
Sam H. Watson Jr., 64, of Largo, FL, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away suddenly on October 2.
He was born on January 17, 1954 in Detroit, MI, and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Nannie Watson and Evelyn (Ray Gant) and Clyde Burnette.
Sam’s greatest joy in his life was his wife, Tracie, along with his son and two grandsons. He was always tinkering with something and loved working on his Jeep Wrangler, computers, and house. He also loved going to the flea market as well as collecting coins, coal scrip, old postcards, baseball cards and growing pineapples in his garden. He operated Tampa Token and was the owner of Mighty Micro Computer Service for over 30 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracie; son, Dr. Samuel H Watson III (Jill) of Oldsmar, FL and two grandsons, Cole and Reid; father, Samuel Harold Watson (CeCe) of Palm Harbor, FL; mother, Marjorie (Punk Burnette) Rains (Charles) of Williamsburg; sister, Mary Lynn Watson of Norris, TN and brother, Don Watson (Janet) of Alpharetta, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends and family
He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 20, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vernon Jones officiating.
Sam always wore shorts and Hawaiian shirts. He would want anyone who attends his funeral to be causal and relaxed as well.
