Remains of W’burg Korean War vet finally found, identified

More than 60 years ago, Williamsburg native Charlie H. Hill, 31, was serving in the United States Army during the Korean War when he went missing in action and was never seen again. Recent efforts and DNA testing have finally identified Hill’s remains.
The remains of a Williamsburg man, who was declared missing in action during the Korean War in late 1950, will be laid to rest this week in Michigan.
