Rains awarded Martha Washington Medal at WWC of the NSDAR meeting

The William Whitley Chapter of the NSDAR held it’s regular meeting on Saturday, May 20, at the Williamsburg Tourism Center.
In Commemoration of Armed Forces Day, Kevin Rossman, Veteran, from Barbourville, and a member of the Charles A. Gatliff Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presented the program.

Barbourville Veteran, Kevin Rossman entertained the members at the meeting by playing his accordion.
Kevin served in Delta Company which was attached to the Honor Guard Unit of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
He entertained the group with selections of historical patriotic music played on the Accordion and spoke to the group about many of the duties involved in serving in the Honor Guard.

Regent Carolyn Falin presented Donna Rains, Registrar, with a certificate and the Martha Washington Medal awarded by the Kentucky Society of the Sons of the American Revolution for her assistance to the Society for outstanding work as Registrar and Genealogy.
Members enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by hostess Donna Rains.
