Public’s help sought to locate missing Woodbine woman

Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Woodbine woman, who was last seen over two months ago.

Kristi B. Lee, 43, of Woodbine, was last seen on Sept. 10.

On Sept. 22, family members contacted Kentucky State Police at Post 11 in London to report that Kristi B. Lee, 43, was last seen on Monday, Sept. 10.

“The family has not seen or heard from her since,” said KSP Trooper Lloyd Cochran, a state police spokesperson.

Cochran said that Lee would come and go staying with different people, which is part of the reason family members waited to report her missing because they didn’t always know where she was staying.

Lee is a white 5’6” female weighing about 120 points with brown hair and brown eyes.

State police are asking for anyone with information about her disappearance or whereabouts to contact them at (606) 878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.

“Hopefully if we can get that picture out somebody will have seen her. Please contact us and let us know,” Cochran said.

He also encouraged Lee to contact police if she reads this just so they can verify that she is alright.

In terms of whether foul play could be involved, Cochran said, “We just don’t know the circumstances around her disappearance.”

Trooper Gary Ridener is leading the investigation.
