Mary Elva Harrod

Mary Elva Harrod, 96, of Meadow Creek Road, Rockholds, departed this life on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home.

She was born on October 16, 1920 in Whitley County, to the late Henry Waddell and Manuriva (Smith) Waddell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harrod and brothers, Roscoe Waddell and Claude Waddell

She is survived by special cousin, Glenna Woods of Rockholds; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, October 19, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 12 noon Wednesday, October 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Waddell officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Johnson Cemetery on Meadow Creek.
