ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed Bids for the following surplus property will be received by the Whitley County Fiscal Court.

Person(s) or Agency must submit their mailed bids or submit them to the Whitley County Judge Executive at the Whitley County Courthouse, P.O. Box 237, Williamsburg, Kentucky, on or before 2:00 p.m. local time on February 19, 2019 at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids will then be presented to the Fiscal Court at the regular scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on February 19, 2019. All bids shall be marked “SURPLUS PROPERTY” on front of envelope.
The surplus property is available for inspection located at Whitley County Road Department, Prewitt Bend Rd, Williamsburg, KY 40769 and can be viewed during 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Payment from the recipient(s) awarded the Bid shall be made with the County Treasurer. Removal of the vehicles/equipment shall be the responsibility of the recipient of the BID and shall have until 3:30 PM on February 28, 2019 to remove all vehicles or equipment.
Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445 and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 60 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.
Whitley County reserves the right to waive any informality and may reject any and all bids. Whitley County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for the construction of one (1) new single family dwelling will be received by Bell-Whitley CAA, Inc. at their office at 129 Pine St, Pineville, KY until 10:00 o’clock AM EST, February 6, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The bid must be labeled on the outside front cover as “HOME 2018 – Project #1.”
The dwellings are described as:
- Construction Project # – One new lock and key complete 1316 sq. ft. three bedroom 2 bathroom house to be located at 1646 Black Oak Road Williamsburg, Kentucky. Successful bidder is responsible for site preparation, Termite Pre-treatment, graveled parking area (4” thick compacted crushed #57 limestone), utility hookups, and installation of septic system, and all permits.
- Directions to site as follows: Highway 25W South to Black Oak Road, turn right. Go about 1.5 miles, lot will be on the right.
The information for bidders, form of bid, form of contract, plans, specifications and other contract documents may be examined at 129 Pine St., Pineville, KY. Due to the limited availability of copies of the house plans, the plans will remain in the office and be available for review by potential bidders. The successful bidder must purchase one set of plans for $300 each for each house to be built.
The owner or agency reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Further attention is directed to CABO Code current Edition, the 2012 International Residential Code, the 2012 Kentucky Residential Code and the Kentucky Residential Code supplement, Model Energy Code Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, Title VI, Minimum Design and Universal Design restrictions and requirements, Kentucky Housing Corporation’s requirements in addition to KRC, and any other applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Minority and Women-Owned Business enterprises are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 10 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Public Service Commission of Kentucky (“PSC”) will hold a hearing on February 14, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Time, at the PSC’s offices at 211 Sower Boulevard in Frankfort, Kentucky, for the purpose of cross examining witnesses of the Joint Applicants in Case No. 2018-00369, which is the Electronic Joint Application of Aqua America, Inc., SteelRiver Infrastructure Fund North America LP, SteelRiver LDC Investments LP, LDC Parent LLC, LDC Funding LLC, LDC Holdings LLC, PNG Companies LLC, Peoples Gas KY LLC, and Delta Natural Gas Company, Inc. for Approval of an Acquisition of Ownership and Control of PNG Companies LLC and Delta Natural Gas Company, Inc.
