Hazel Carpenter Lawson

Hazel Carpenter Lawson, 93, of Blue Ash, OH and formerly of Williamsburg departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Hospice of Cincinnati.

She was born on November 1, 1923 in Whitley County, to the late Bud Carpenter and Summer (Bennett) Carpenter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Lawson and a son, Shirl Lawson.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lawson of Blue Ash, OH; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Junior Carpenter, Arville Carpenter (Pauline) and Carl Carpenter of Williamsburg; two sisters, Polly Siler of Highland Heights, and Ina Johnson of Williamsburg; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Friday, January 13, the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Rev. Adam Lawson officiating.

She was laid to rest in the Lot Cemetery on Lot Mud Creek.
