The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on June 3:
Freddie E. Prewitt, born in 1972, possession of marijuana – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Terri Smith, born in 1990, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $25 fine plus court costs.
James Oscar Stephens, born in 1972, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.
William J. Tapke, born in 1955, pled guilty to two 2018 unspecified traffic charges – $20 fine plus court costs.
Reva Brandenburg, born in 1986, failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s/moped license, no auto insurance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $200 fine plus court costs.
Joshua Long, born in 1985, theft-shoplifting under $500, possession of marijuana, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol, third-degree escape – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, $850 fine plus court costs.
Ronald Anderson, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 60 days are served, court costs, give credit for time served for costs.
Charles J. Cureton, born in 1988 – diversion successfully completed, two misdemeanor charges dismissed.
Johnny Ray Jones, born in 1962, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – $50 fine plus court costs.
Leona J. Lyons, born in 1971, second-degree disorderly conduct – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 30 days already served, give credit for time served towards costs.
Tina King Monhollen, born in 1971, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – 30-day jail sentence concurrent with 2017 misdemeanor case, credit nine days already served, give credit for time served for costs.
Paula D. Mosley, born in 1967, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Patricia A. Norris, born in 1976, first-degree criminal trespassing – $100 fine plus court costs.
Patricia A. Norris, theft-shoplifting under $500, third-degree criminal trespassing, second-degree promoting contraband – 12-month jail sentence probated after first 30 days are served, credit five days already served, balance of sentence to be served on weekends, $25 fine, $92.30 restitution to Walmart.
Michael E. Perkins, born in 1980, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for six months, plus court costs.
John E. Poole, born in 1964, third-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, credit 30 days already served, operator’s license suspended for 24 months, attend drug education classes, $500 fine plus fees and costs.
Payden L. Powers, born in 1991, third-degree possession of a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.
Larry N. Wilson, born in 1954 – completed diversion successfully, 2017 misdemeanor charge dismissed.

Donnie J. Carr, born in 1989, bench warrant for failure to complete Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous as ordered – probated time revoked, six months to serve.
Johnny A. Staggs Jr., born in 1983, bench warrant for failure to show proof of outpatient rehab – probated time revoked, 12-month jail sentence.

James Lay, born in 1954, no brake lights, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, second-offense no auto insurance – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $1,100 fine plus court costs.
Robert Daniel Taylor, born in 1978, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Stacy Bell, born in 1989, endangering the welfare of a minor, fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, possession of drug paraphernalia – 10-month jail sentence probated for two years plus court costs, follow Department of Community-Based Services case plan.
Tyler S. Bowman, born in 1995 – motion for shock probation granted, restitution paid in full.
Daniel Shawn Burke, born in 1978, controlled substance prescription not in original container – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.
Toby Ellison, born in 1984, possession of marijuana, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, credit 30 days already served, give credit for time served for costs.
Issac S. Grubbs, born in 1984, bench warrant for failure to appear – 12-month jail sentence.
David Lynn Jones, born in 1969, bench warrant for failure to pay restitution as ordered – probated time revoked.
Walter Jones, born in 1991, speeding 10 mph over limit – $20 fine plus court costs.
Thomas Leach, born in 2000, fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.

Garrett Dewayne Mullis, born in 1972 – motion for shock probation denied, but may receive shock probation once rehab bed is available.
Colin Oaks, born in 1992 – motion for shock probation denied.
Carla Shelton, born in 1978, theft-shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years after first 14 days are served on home-incarceration, plus court costs.
Terrilynn R. Sluder, born in 1999 – motion for expungement denied, no paperwork turned in.
Jessica Smith, born in 1993, receiving stolen property under $500 – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first six months are served, $250 restitution to Clyde Griffith.
Jill Taylor, born in 1982, bench warrant for failure to complete rehab as ordered – probated time revoked.
