The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on Jan. 7:
Jacqueline Annette Curnutt, born in 1976, license not in possession, improper equipment – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Jonathan D. Day, born in 1997, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Michael William Forest Jr., born in 1977, improper start from parked position – $50 fine plus court costs.
Brian R. Hurst, born in 1981, no rearview mirror, no auto insurance – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $75 fine plus court costs.
Jason Allen Jasper, born in 1969, speeding 10 mph over limit – paid in full.
Patricia V. Jones, born in 1981, speeding 22 mph over limit – paid.
Wendie E. Lovitt, born in 1999, possession of marijuana – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Billy S. McKiddy, born in 1978, no auto insurance – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $100 fine plus court costs.
Diana Ovbey, born in 1983, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts – $50 fine plus court costs.
Kenneth E. Powers, born in 1968, possession of drug paraphernalia – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Jeromy Rains, born in 1988, improper equipment – $23 fine plus court costs.
Adam S. Rose, born in 1988, failure to produce auto insurance card – $50 fine plus court costs.
Derek S. Swords, born in 1986 – paid in full.
Matthew Towles, born in 1990, possession of drug paraphernalia – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Virgie Nadine Coldiron, no seatbelt – $25 fine plus court costs.
Jack Collins, born in 1998, failure to produce vehicle insurance card – $25 fine plus court costs.
Tandy Lynn Daniels, born in 1979, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – $50 fine plus court costs.
Betsy Linda Eckerd, born in 1980, five counts of theft by deception-include cold checks under $500 – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs.
Nathan R. Hepburn, born in 1997, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs under 21 years of age – operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $100 fine plus court costs.
Wesley D. Holt, born in 2000, disorderly conduct – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs.
Phillip R. Huddleston, born in 1980, fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, no contact with victim.
