MIKKAH ROGERS
Mikkah Rogers is one of the most decorated girls’ basketball players in the history of Corbin High School. Her versatility allowed her to play both the guard and forward positions. She is remembered not only for her versatility to defend all positions on the floor, but also her talent as a volume scorer. Her scoring ability earns her a spot in the career 1,000 point club of Redhound history. Mikkah also played shortstop for the softball Redhounds .
Mikkah is currently serving our country in the United States Air Force, and is stationed in Camden, Delaware, where she remains active in rugby, hiking, kayaking, and the outdoors.

CLINT CASHEN
Clint Cashen is one of the most prolific passers to grace the gridiron of Campbell Field. He is remembered for his big arm, pin point accuracy and composure in big games. A 4-year starter at Corbin, he led two of his squads to the KHSAA semifinals en route to compiling 34 wins as a starter at quarterback. Clint’s arm not only garnered him thousands of yards on the gridiron, but achieved endless accolades on the baseball diamond.
After graduating in 2008, Clint attended Mineral Area Junior College and Lincoln University on a baseball scholarship. He currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his fiancé Tory, where he serves as a Police Officer for the St. Louis Metro Police Department.

TOMMY STEWART
Tommy Stewart is one of the most dominant basketball players in the history of Corbin High School. A 4-year starter for the Redhounds, Tommy is remembered not only as an unstoppable scorer, but for his ability to grab rebounds and defend at a high level. Statistically, he compiled over 2,400 points and 1,000 rebounds in his illustrious career.
Tommy presently resides in Lily with his wife Rebecca and their daughters, Shelby and Bailey.

STEVE HART
Steve Hart is one of the most ferocious and feared linemen to ever wear a Redhound football jersey. A state champion on perhaps the greatest team Corbin High School has ever fielded, Steve is remembered for throwing punishing blocks as the center of one of the most dominant Redhound offenses in school history.
Steve was one of the leaders on the 1976 State Championship team who defeated nationally ranked Mayfield 6-0 at Commonwealth Stadium. His senior year garnered him regional and statewide recognition.
Steve presently resides in Corbin with his wife Vickie. He is the owner/operator of Kentucky Outdoorsman with his wife and two sons, Travis and Tyler, who were also outstanding centers for past Redhound teams.

BLAKE FREEMAN
Blake Freeman is one the most decorated multisport athletes in Corbin High School history, where he excelled on the gridiron, the basketball floor, and the tennis court. Blake is widely regarded as one of the best doubles tennis players in the entire 13th Region; feared for his powerful serve and his aggressive play at the net. Blake also played basketball and football for the Redhounds.
Blake still holds the record for most titles by any tennis player in the history of the 13th Region. As a double’s competitor, Blake’s career record stands at 80 wins to 6 losses, a 93% winning percentage. Behind, Blake’s stellar play, Corbin Tennis accumulated six straight 13th Region titles.
Blake credits his father Brien Freeman for pushing him to be his absolute best in every sport he played. His tennis coach, Coach Curt Hart remembers Blake “as a total team player who meshed with every doubles partner he had.”
Blake presently resides in Corbin where he practices law with his father and brother at Freeman, Childers & Howard.

BRIAN BOOTH
Brian “Pete” Booth is renowned not only as a standout on the gridiron and baseball diamond, but is widely regarded as the face of the Corbin High School soccer program. Graduating from Corbin High School in 1973, he was a bruising fullback and punishing linebacker for the Redhounds, remembered for his physical brand of play. He also excelled on the baseball diamond as a catcher for the Redhounds.
Brian is celebrated not only for his on the field achievements, but for his membership on the Corbin High School Soccer Booster Club, where he has served as president for more than twenty years. Undoubtedly, the recent dominance of Corbin High School soccer, which includes multiple 13th Region Championships, is a direct product of Brian’s organization, direction, and support. Simply put, Brian Booth is Redhound soccer: from ordering uniforms, setting up the field, organizing concessions, scheduling referees, maintaining the gate, and keeping track of soccer finances, the Redhound soccer program would not be possible without the tireless efforts of Brian Booth.
“Pete is literally everything to us. Thanks to Pete, I only have to coach soccer. Other high school coaches have multiple irons in the fire and Pete frees me up to focus on the game. We are so blessed to have him and our program is a success thanks to him,” said Lady Redhounds soccer coach Hannah Goins.
Brian presently resides with his wife, Jill, in Corbin, where he is a retail florist at Grover Floral.

SHANNON SAMS
Shannon Sams is one of the most outstanding Redhound baseball players to ever grace the diamond at Corbin High School. He is remembered as being one of the most difficult batters to strike out in CHS history. He led his team in RBIs, homeruns, and slugging percentage for multiple seasons. He also excelled on the gridiron as a lockdown defensive back.
In his career as a Redhound, Sams is known as one of the most explosive batters in CHS history. In 268 plate appearances, he garnered a .336 batting average, including 90 hits, 56 RBIs, 5 homeruns and 76 runs scored, as well as 44 stolen bases.
Sams presently resides in Corbin as a business owner and insurance salesman with his wife Tamra and their two sons and gridiron standouts, Dustyn and Devyn Sams.

2006 REDHOUND VOLLEYBALL TEAM
The 2006 Redhound Volleyball team will be remembered as perhaps the most dominant team in school history. Regarded as the pioneers of Redhound Volleyball and the gold standard for teams of the future, the 2006 squad will be remembered not only for their fierce play, high scoring, and ability to play at a high-level time and time again.
This consistency was best displayed by their impressive 15 match winning streak. Under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach Alecia Elwell, the Lady Redhounds compiled 26 wins en route to capturing the North Laurel Invitational Title, the SEKC title, the 49th District Championship, and the 13th Region Championship, with dominating performances over Middlesboro, Rockcastle County, and Clay County. To date, the 2006 Lady Redhounds are the only 13th Region team to win a set at the State Championship.
The Lady Redhounds were loaded with talent at all positions, and were led by team MVP Michelle Snell, 13th Region MVP Megan Taylor Martin, and their leading scorer Sarah Pollum, who notched 145 points on serves alone. Undoubtedly, the 2006 Lady Redhounds established the gold standard for future Redhound Volleyball teams.
