Woman accused of stealing money from Corbin Primary PTO fund
A Corbin woman has been indicted for allegedly stealing $4,650 from an account belonging to the Corbin Primary PTO.
A Whitley County Grand Jury indicted Amy Lambert, 36, of Corbin, Monday morning charging her with five counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of theft by deception over $500 but less than $10,000, and three counts of theft by deception under $500.
Lambert was the treasurer for the Corbin Primary PTO at the time of the thefts, said Corbin Police Lt. Detective Bill Rose, who investigated the case.
