Winners named in 2012 Old-Fashioned Trading Days Quilt Show/Contest and Canning Contest
The Williamsburg Old-Fashioned Trading Days Quilt Show/Contest and Canning Contest were conducted Wednesday, Sept. 5 through Friday, Sept. 7 by Matti Daniels, County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences and County Homemakers Association members, at the Whitley County Cooperative Extension Service downtown location.
There were a total of 21 items exhibited in the Quilt Show and 45 items exhibited in the Canning Contest.
This year something new was added to the Quilt Show/Contest. Those who viewed the display could vote their top “Viewer’s Choice.” The winner was Edna Mullis.
