Wilma Jean Richardson

Wilma Jean Richardson, age 83, of Prewitt Bend Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her home. Wilma Jean was born on May 17, 1938 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Sarah (White) Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Alma Richardson, Gertie Richardson, Betty Greene and Cassie Prewitt and six brothers, Roy Richardson, Paul Richardson, Linville Richardson, Rannie Richardson, Lake Richardson and Billy Richardson.
Wilma Jean was a former employee of Cumberland College and the University of the Cumberland for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Cox of Williamsburg; sister-in-law, Lib Richardson of Williamsburg; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service was be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerrod Sutton officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery in Williamsburg.
