Wilma Jean Lambdin Hatfield
Wilma Jean Lambdin Hatfield, 78, of Taylor, Michigan departed this life peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2022
Wilma was born on April 26, 1943 in Whitley County Kentucky to the late Kelly and Virgie Lambdin. In addition to her parents, Wilma was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Jardon Hatfield; her son, Jeffrey Lynn Hatfield; grandson, Wyatt Quinn Hatfield; and her sister, Junievie Miracle.
Wilma was a homemaker who showered her family with warmth, love, and plenty of good food. She always made sure to have a cake or pie and a pot of coffee on hand for anyone who stopped by to make them feel welcome.
She enjoyed spoiling her pets, shopping, watching Detroit Red Wings hockey, and listening to the music of Elvis Presley.
Wilma was a deeply loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She in turn is deeply loved and will surely be missed.
She is survived by her son, Ward Keith Hatfield and wife Annie of Taylor, Michigan; grandson, Jeffrey Paul Hatfield of Oakland, TN; six sisters, Charline Finley of Batavia, Ohio, Faye (Bill) Rains of Finleytown, Ohio, Eliza (Don) Edwards of McKee, Kentucky, Sue (Gary) Phelps of Somerset, Kentuck, Pat Mullins of Crittenden, Kentucky, and Phyllis (Gerald) Mullins of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one brother, Roy (Kathi) Lambdin of Milford, Ohio; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, March 12, at Grace Christian Fellowship Church.
