Kentucky State Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Monday morning on Craig Road.
KSP Trooper Mike Witt said the victim, Jason Cureton of Williamsburg, apparently got into an argument and a fight with an unknown assailant, who stabbed him twice in the right side in the ribcage area.
A friend picked up Cureton on the road, and transported him to Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin where he was admitted with a punctured lung, Witt noted.
So far no arrests have been made.
Witt is continuing the investigation.
