In the business division, Forcht Bank took first place. State Farm Insurance took second place and River Stomp took third place.
In the school category, Whitley County High School’s Gear Up Club took home the first place honor.
In addition to bragging rights, parade winners also received cash prizes. A $150 cash prize was awarded for first place, $100 was awarded for second place and $50 for third place in each division.
There were over 50 entries in the parade.
“We had some great participants this year in the parade. We had some really different types of floats. Some of them were absolutely just beautiful,” said Williamsburg Main Street Manager Nannie Hays.
“The weather was great. We had a great crowd downtown. I think each year it is starting to grow. The committee did an excellent job of getting it together and getting everything set up.”
