Whitley County voter turnout exceeds expectations

Whitley County Clerk Carolyn Willis initially hoped for a 30 percent voter turnout for Tuesday General Election, but had those projections exceeded as 36.1 percent of voters turned out to cast their ballots or 10,228 total votes.
