Whitley County deputies searching for suspect in Canadatown Market robbery

Whitley County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to locate a person “being sought for questioning” regarding an armed robbery of Canadatown Market Sunday.

Deputies said the person has been identified as Bobby D. Canada II, 35, of Williamsburg.

“Canada was last seen on foot leaving the store wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts,” deputies stated.

Anyone with information concerning Canada’s whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 549-6017.

Deputy Brentley Patrick is continuing the investigation.
