West Jessamine 72, Grayson Co. 67

Grayson County has one of the biggest crowds here, but it looks like the Cougars will go home today. They are losing to West Jessamine 70-61. Travis Johnson hit a three with 21.4. It’s 70-64.

West Jessamine continues to put this one away from the free throw line. They hit 23 of 29 in the second half and was 26 of 36 for the game.

Jarrod Polson may be one of the smallest players on the court, but he had 22 points and 11 rebounds. He is a 5-10 senior. West Jessamine had four players in double figures with Joanthon Rehner scoring 14 points, Nick Ziemann 13 and Dylan Pohl 10 points.

Travis Johnston had 26 points for Grayson County who hit 12 three-pointers and still lost this game. They outscored West 36-12 from beyond the arc but the Colts got 34 points in the paint compared to 18 for Grayson.
