Wesley Pete Patterson
Wesley Pete Patterson, 65, of Frakes, departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Pineville Community Hospital in Pineville.
He was born on May 26, 1952 in Bell County, to the late John Patterson and Dora Frances (Taylor) Patterson.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Ward, brother-in-law, Jerry Laws; father-in-law, Eugene Bennett; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ann Rhodes.
He was a veteran of the United Sates Army.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Frances Bennett Patterson of Frakes; son, Jon Wesley Patterson and wife Donna of Williamsburg; daughter, Misty Leigh Patterson of Frakes; three grandsons, Chris Croley (Ashley), Cayden Grubb and Mason Grubb; four granddaughters, Ashlee Hatfield (Jeremy), Tosha Croley, Brooke Patterson and Hannah Smith; six great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Helen Bennett; three brothers, Danny Patterson (Carolyn) of Middlesboro, Ray Patterson (Linda) of Ingram and Johnny Patterson (Debbie) of Virginia; four sisters, Lois Laws of Ingram, Joyce Godsey (Gary), Carolyn Laws (Roy) and Jamie Holt (Mark) all of North Carolina; brothers-in-law, Eugene Bennett (Mary Lou) and Terry Joe Bennett (Wanda); many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 27, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.
Following the service he was laid to rest in the Bennett Cemetery.
