W’burg woman needs items for rehab facility treat bags
A Williamsburg woman is gathering items to provide 62 treat bags for a local rehabilitation facility, which serves both men and women.
“Every family has been touched by addiction. This is a way to show you support recovery,” said Denise McKeehan. “This is a gonna be a way to share the love of Jesus with them.”
McKeehan said that items needed include: new adult socks, bagged or homemade candies, cookies, gum, ink pens, note pads or notebooks, books, deodorants, body wash, toothpaste, hair needs, and coloring books, crayons, colored pencils or markers.
McKeehan said that the items can be delivered to her on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Riverbend Auction pick-ups site at the Whitley County Fairgrounds. McKeehan is seller number six.
