Wallace Ralph Veach
Wallace Ralph Veach, 92, passed away on October 5, 2022 at Life Center of Wartburg.
He was born in Whitley County, KY on November 24, 1929 the son of the late Everett Newton and Sarah Katherine Veach.
Ralph is preceded in death by his sister Jean Kearney, brothers Maurice Veach and Kenneth Veach.
He is survived by his sisters, Faye Begluitti of Jellico, TN, and Barbara Cuel of Maryville, TN; his brother Rodney Veach and wife Juliet of Sedona, AZ; and sister-in-law Brenda.
He is survived by three sons, Wallace Michael, Timothy Joe and Maurice Randall; two daughters, Debra Louise and Belinda Marie; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren which also survive him.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged from the service as a Sergeant in 1959 with Merit Unit EMB, Korean Service Medal, two Bronze Service Stars and United Nations Service Medal Commendations.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Pleasant View United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, KY with Pastor Dennis Crump officiating.
Interment followed in the Pleasant View Cemetery Oak Lawn Addition with military honors provided by the Jellico Honor Guard.
