Virginia Ruth Peace

Virginia Ruth Peace, age 80, of Williamsburg, KY,passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Baptist Health Corbin.

Virginia was born November 6, 1942 to the late Edward (Ed) Byrd and Muriel (Rains) Byrd.

In addition to her parents, Edward (Ed) Byrd and Muriel (Rains) Byrd, she was proceeded in death by seven siblings.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Charles Parker Peace of Williamsburg, KY; three daughters, Hope Akins (Mark) of Williamsburg, KY, Becky Sears (Steve) of Williamsburg, KY, Melanie Smith (Tim) of Williamsburg, KY, two sons, John Peace (Jennifer) of Williamsburg, KY, Chuck Peace (Yvonne) of Richmond, KY; fourteen grandchildren, Erin Sears, Jordan Akins (Tiana), Kristin Sears Wilde (Alex), Miranda Peace (Nick Anderson), Kaylee Akins Rose (Caleb), Dalton Peace, Parker Akins, Bronson Bates, Maddie Peace, Alana Mah, Griffin Bates, Ryder Akins, Morgan Peace, and Lillie Roark; three great-grandchildren, Rumor Anderson, Hallie Akins, and Houston Wilde; one brother, Bob Byrd (Sue) of Williamsburg, KY; special nephew, Brian Peace of Williamsburg, KY; special niece, Tudy Ball of Williamsburg, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn her passing.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 11, after 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Croley Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted the same day Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Morland officiating.
