Virginia Pauline Prewitt

Virginia Pauline Prewitt, 78, of Fox Hunter Lane, Sevierville, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Leconte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN.

She was born on June 14, 1939 in Williamsburg, to the late Herbert Burnett and Delphia (Bird) Burnett.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Rev. Lawrence and Edna Prewitt; nephew, James Daniel Burnett and brothers-in-law, Dave Wood and Nolan Bird.

She is survived by husband of over 57 years, James Hubert Prewitt of Sevierville, TN; three brothers, George Burnett (Helen) of Middletown, OH, Lincoln Burnett (Wanda) of Lake Placid, FL and Roscoe Burnett of Williamsburg; three sisters, Doris Wood of Chattanooga, TN, Patsy Angel (Don) of Miamisburg, OH and Betty Redden (Lolan) of Williamsburg; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Brassfield (Kyle) of Imlay City, MI and Peggy Bird of Williamsburg; a host of nieces and nephews; and other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, January 29, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.

Following the service she was laid to rest in the Youngs Creek Cemetery.
