Vena Hicks Hinkle

Vena Hicks Hinkle, 88, of New Tazewell formerly of Newcomb, TN passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Tri State Manor in Harrogate, TN.

She was born January 9, 1928 in Campbell Count, TN.

Vena is preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Hicks, Chester Hinkle; father, Richard Cooper Miller, mother, Lana Violet Miller; brothers, Joe Miller and Jim Miller; sister, Maggie Lay.

She is survived by sons, Jimmy Hicks and wife Ella, Harold Hicks and wife Linda, Robert Hicks and wife Laura; daughters, Joyce Hicks, Jean Hicks, Sharon Napier and husband Ron; thirteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Miller, Roger Miller, Mike Miller; sisters, Lois Byrd, Betty Ayers, Wanda Lay, Iris Angel; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

The funeral services were held December 16, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Lay officiating.

Burial was held in the in the Warren Memorial Garden (Pioneer, TN).
