Vehicle enforcement finds 20 grams of crystal meth in vehicle during traffic stop

Vehicle Enforce officers conducting a routine traffic stop in Corbin Thursday morning seized nearly 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine, arresting the three occupants of the vehicle on drug trafficking and other charges.
According to Vehicle Enforcement Officer Steve Douglas, public affairs officer at CVE Region Four in London, Officer Mike Hamblin initiated the traffic stop on the vehicle driven by 26-year-old Theresa M. Hall of London about 2 a.m. on U.S. 25E.
Douglas said Hall gave officers consent to search the vehicle at which time they discovered the crystal meth, along with an undisclosed amount of marijuana, 20 Xanax pills, 14 gabapentin pills (used to treat nerve pain and seizures), drug pipes, syringes, zip lock bags, digital scales and a loaded 9mm pistol.
Hall, along with the passengers in the vehicle, 22-year-old Ryan E. Hall of London and 26-year-old Randy E. Harrison of Barbourville were arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Theresa Hall is charged first-degree possession of a controlled substance –methamphetamine, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of a legend drug, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, controlled substance prescription not in original container, no operator’s license, no registration plates, no registration receipt, and no insurance. Hall is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Ryan Hall is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a legend drugs, possession of marijuana, controlled substance prescription not in proper container, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, officers served Hall with a warrant for violating parole. Hall is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Harrison was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of a legend drug, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance prescription not in original container – second or greater offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Harrison is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
