Update: Documents show additional details of Roscoe Garland’s demise

A trio of Pine Knot residents are each being held in jail in lieu of separate $500,000 cash bonds in connection to the slaying of another McCreary County man, whose skeletal remains were found in Whitley County last week.

Roscoe Bryant, Broderick Taylor and Joe Bryant are all accused of murder in Roscoe Garland’s killing.

So far, Kentucky State Police haven’t released a great deal of information regarding the killing of Roscoe L. Garland, 54, also of Pine Knot, but a News Journal analysis of public records in the case is shedding additional light on Garland’s demise.
