Unis Winford Teague
Unis Winford Teague, born on December 24, 1932 in Valley Creek, Tennessee, peacefully departed this world on December 13, 2023.
Known for his hearty laughter and unfailing work ethic, Unis made a significant impact on all those who were fortunate to cross his path. He spent his life in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where he diligently worked as a laborer in the construction industry before retiring.
Unis was a devoted Baptist. His faith was a guiding light throughout his life, reflecting in his actions and beliefs. As stated in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Unis lived these words every day, demonstrating unwavering faith and trust in God.
Unis was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Teague. He is survived by his brothers, Buster and Jerry Teague, along with Buster’s wife Reba. His legacy continues in the hearts of several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Unis was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gladys Teague, and his siblings, Earl, Donald, Frank Jr., Ivajean Martin, Barbara Teague, and June Terry.
The funeral service was Sunday, December 17 at the Croley Funeral Home.
Following the service, there was an interment at the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery, Stringtown Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
