Ula Mae Brock Buckner

Ms. Ula Mae Brock Buckner, age 89, of Newcomb, Tennessee, joined Jesus, her late husband and daughter on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Beech Tree Manor. Ula Mae devoted her life to her family. She was the caretaker of many loved ones, and was loved by all who met her. Her family will always miss her sweet and humble spirit and her loving wisdom.

She was preceded in death by: her husband of fifty-three years, Uyless “Bob” Buckner; daughter, Joyce Buckner Blankenship; parents, Andrew and Maudie Braden Brock; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by: her daughter, Lois Jane Buckner; son, Delbert Lee “Bo” Buckner; grandchildren, Leslie Silcox, Amanda Prewitt and husband, Brad, Kristi Buckner, Dustin Buckner and wife, Leeanna, and Lindsey Buckner; great-grandchildren, Chanler, Chjelsea, Lucas, Evan Kaien, Kasyn and Knox; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

Ula Mae’s wishes were that all services be private.

Graveside service was held Friday, January 17, in the Hicks Cemetery (Newcomb), Tennessee with Rev. Earl Powers officiating.
