UC announces departmental awards

It’s no secret that University of the Cumberlands has hardworking students. Some students in particular have made their mark on their respective academic departments, winning departmental awards for their achievements in the classroom.

Here are the local winners of the 2023 University of the Cumberlands departmental student of the year awards, including:

• Accounting – Madalyn Bethany Sutton of Williamsburg
• Computer and Information Science – Denisha Nrupeshkumar Patel of Corbin and Sierra Daniel Rhinehart of Williamsburg
• Physics – Bradley James Faulkner of Williamsburg
• Theatre Arts – Skyler Jack Jones of Corbin
