Two Corbin residents arrested for operating meth lab near two-year-old child

Terry Cornett, 42, of Corbin, was one of two people arrested.
Two Corbin residents were arrested by Kentucky State Police Wednesday after it was discovered they were operating a meth lab alongside a two-year-old child.
According to KSP Post 11 Public Affairs Trooper Don Trosper, Troopers visited a residenceo n Edgewater Road, about nine miles south of London, around 12:07 p.m. Wednesday to perform a child welfare check. Once inside the residence, they discovered an active methamphetamine lab. The child was in the home as well.
Trooper Fred Pennington arrested the following two (2) people:
Terry A. Cornett, 42, of Corbin on the charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST Degree 1ST Offense (Meth), Possession of Marijuana, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Control Substance Endangerment to a Child 4TH.
Aundrea M. Lay, 34, of Corbin on the charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST Degree 1ST Offense (Meth), Possession of Marijuana and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
The child was taken into protective custody and released to a case worker from Social Services.
Trooper Pennington is in charge of the investigation and was assisted by KSP Sergeant Lafe Owens, the Laurel County Department for Public Safety and the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children (Laurel County Office).

Since I can remember..jeez..how nitpicky can you be? Exit 38 is 9 miles from exit 29. 38-29=9!!! It also depends on what part of london and corbin you’re in as to the distance between two points. You could be as close as 6 miles or as far as 16 miles. People never cease to amaze me.
Since when is corbin nine miles south of london?
