Two arrested, one wanted in connection with October burglary

Whitley County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for Donald Hicks, who is wanted in connection with an October burglary case.
A Whitley County duo, who were wanted in connection with an October burglary was arrested Tuesday at a residence on Deep Branch Road in the Maple Creek community.
According to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell, Deputy James Tabor went to the residence off east Ky. 92 to serve arrest warrants on 29-year-old Tommy Worley and 24-year-old Nickie N. Worley.
Tommy and Nickie Worley each face one count of first-degree burglary.
According to Harrell, the warrants were obtained by the alleged victim, who reported more than 10 firearms, miscellaneous jewelry, electronic devices and old coins being taken.
“The victim obtained the warrants after some firearms were returned due to beliefs that they belonged to the victim,” Harrell stated.
A third warrant in the case for 29-year-old Donald R. Hicks of Pioneer, Tennessee remains outstanding.
Harrell said Whitley deputies are working with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department to make an arrest.
