Two arrested in connection with Jeremy Johnson case
Two arrests have been made in the case of a missing Knox County man and officials say they believe they may find the body of 25-year-old Jeremy Johnson soon.
According to arrest citations, Kentucky State Police Detective Jason York arrested Daniel Grubb, 23, of Woodbine and Bobbie R. Walters, 64, of Barbourville, yesterday. Grubb, who has long been considered a suspect in the case, was charged with tampering with physical evidence. The citation states that on the 11th day of June 2008, Grubb "unlawfully committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence, class d felony." On or about that date, police say Grubb moved the body of Johnson and also moved a 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier from his (Grubb¹s) residence to an old strip job to hide said evidence.
Walters¹ citation states that he committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence by disposing of Jeremy Johnson’s body in Knox County. Johnson has been missing since June 10 of 2008 when he was allegedly last seen at Angels and Wings Sports Bar in Corbin in a red Chevrolet station wagon.
Officers from the Knox County Sheriff’s Dept. searched an area on Hwy. 459 on July 16, 2008 where they found the car belonging to Johnson on the opposite side of a hill officials had searched before. Police said the car had been driven as far back in the woods as it could have been driven.
Police are currently in the vicinity of Hwy. 459 at this time continuing their search. Cheack back with www.thenewsjournal.net for any breaking news in the case.

duh of course that jerk had something to do with it or he wouldnt of tampered with the evidence. I think both of them should get the same thing they did to Jeremy or worse. You would have to be a pretty big low life to do some crap like that. They took a baby from its daddy. how can they live with their selves every day???
i do not doubt they did it but why arent they charged with murder? What evidence do they have to say they moved the body…im sure it has been printed but i missed it…just want to know the whole story is all
Oh, please, Free Him. He did it and you know he did it….get a life for God’s sake.
I am so pleased for the families sake, i hope they fry them
Of corse he did! I’m so glad he is off the streets and behind bars were he should be. Hopefully now they will find Jeremy so we can all feel some kind of closer. I hope they throw him in jail and never let him out.
The Jerk(Daniel) DID do it!! He deserves everything he gets. That family has endured the hurt and pain long enough. Put him(THEM) away for the rest of their lives!!!
