Top Ten of 2016: Looking back at the biggest sports stories of the past year

In recent history, the News Journal has presented a list of the top five sports stories of the year, either at the end of December, or the beginning of January. This time we are expanding the list out to ten items, however, due to the large amount of major events that have taken place over the course of the past twelve months.
