A personal foul tacked on the kickoff return left the Jaguars in good field position at the Whitley County 42-yard line to start their first possession of the second half. A 28-yard run by Hughie Wagers gave the Jaguars a first down at the Colonels 14-yard line. The Colonels’ defense held on a fourth-and-one from the five-yard line.
Three plays later the Colonels faced a third-and-seven at the eight-yard line. Bramlett broke loose on the play and went 92-yards for the score. The extra point failed, but the Colonels led 41-6 with 7:17 in the period.
