Tommy Minton

On November 8, 2016, Tommy Minton of Corbin, went home to be with our Lord.

Tommy was born on September 14, 1947 in Jellico, TN.

Tommy was a loving husband, father and Poppy to his family.  He was a friend to many, and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends..

He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Minton, mother Mildred Robinson Minton, brother Michael Minton, sisters Mary Almon and Barbie Minton, and child Trinity Minton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pat Lindsey Minton of Corbin; daughter’s Rosa Moses of Jellico, TN, Dawn Minton of Williamsburg, and Stephanie Garcia of Dalton, GA; sons, Ben Minton and wife Heather of Williamsburg, Jason Minton of London; sisters Ruth Minton Collins of Jellico, TN, Vicki Minton of Cincinnati, OH, and brother Raymond Minton of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Taylor Southern and husband Tyler of GA, Turner Minton and Grace Vanover of GA,  Brady Minton, Hayden Minton, Nadia Minton and Dylan Minton all of Williamsburg; honorary grandson Cody Dople of Jellico, TN; great grandchildren Taiyah Southern and Greyson Vanover of GA.  Nephew Rodney Minton of Jellico; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends for visitation: 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 11,  at Harp Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, at 1 p.m. in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.

Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community.
