Tilda Hatfield

Tilda Hatfield, 78, of Lafollette, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Lafollette Medical Center in Lafollette, TN.

She was born May 27, 1938 in Clairfield, TN, to the late Eugene Mozingo and the late Hester Hyden Mozingo.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gillis Hatfield, two sons, Tommy Gene Hatfield, Charles Ed Hatfield; her boyfriend Jimmy Ray King; two brothers Clarence Mozingo and Jacob Mozingo.

She is survived by four daughters, Hester Lay (David) of White Oak, TN, Wanda Lambdin Cain (Tim) of Williamsburg, Mary Helen Jones (Tim) of Leicester, NC, Robin Steakley (Steven) of White Oak, TN; 18 grandchildren, Tommy Edward Hatfield, Mary Lynn Croley, Beronica Hatmaker, TJ Jackson, Tomi Lambdin, Dustin Hatfield, Jennifer Lay, Tommy Lee Hatfield, Nicholas Hatfield, Raylae Hatfield, Ryan Hatfield, Allen Jarvis, Dylan Jarvis, Matthew Steakley, Daniel Steakly, Josh Jones, Tiffany Contessa, Destiny Hamblin; 11 great grandchildren, Dalton Webb, Andrea Webb, Dawson Hatfield, Alissa Hatmaker, Mason Hatmaker, Cameron Beams, Riley Beams, Baylee Beams, Henleigh Hatfield, Aybriella Hatfield, Jujube Contessa; four brothers, Bill Mozingo, Darrell Mozingo, Henry Mozingo, Ray Mozingo; two sisters, Sylvia Hamblin, Sue Marlow, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 11, at the Ellison Fuenral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Mahan officiating.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Sunday February 12, at the Rogerston Cemetery in Clairfield, TN.
