Three injured in head-on crash on Corbin Bypass Friday morning

A Corbin woman was seriously injured Friday morning, and two others were hurt as well, in a two-vehicle crash on the Corbin Bypass near the Knox-Whitley County line.
According to Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Trooper Lloyd Cochran, that accident happened at about 6:28 a.m. A 2006 Toyota Corolla, driven by Linda F. Scearse, 50, of Corbin was traveling northbound on the road when she crossed the centerline and struck a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu head-on. The second vehicle was being driven by Bobby Hulsebus, 53, of Gray.
Scearse was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was transported to Baptist Health Corbin by ambulance and later flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Hulsebus and his passenger were both wearing their seat belts and were taken to Baptist Health Corbin.
No drug or alcohol usage is suspected.
Trooper Eric Moore is investigating the crash. He was assisted at the scene by KSP traffic crash deconstructionist Craig Reed, the Corbin Police Department, Knox County EMS and the Corbin Fire Department.

The passenger was my wife Brenda Hulsebus Maiden name Hensley who works at Sekri. She worked at Goodwill in Corbin for 10+ years. She has a fractured arm, stomach trauma. We are both thankful to be alive, and are sorry about the Driver who hit us.
