Three children removed from property with multiple meth labs; W’burg man arrested
A Williamsburg man is being held in the Whitley County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond after sheriff’s deputies found three methamphetamine labs on his property late Tuesday evening.
Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Tim Baker charged Donnie C. Anderson, 33, of 1511 Whetstone Stone Road, with first-offense manufacturing in methamphetamine.
About 9 p.m. Baker and Lt. Bill Riley accompanied social services on a complaint.
Riley and Baker discovered three meth labs on the property, including one active meth lab.
After the labs were located, Abby Hale of the Laurel County Public Safety was called in to clean up. Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy John Hill assisted at the scene.
Police and social workers discovered three children at the scene, but that the children were not living at the same location of the labs.
The children were taken to the Baptist Regional Medical Center to be tested, and then were released.
