Three busted for meth, pot at Corbin apartment
Corbin Police arrested three people on drug-related charges after finding methamphetmaine and marijuana Tuesday in an apartment on Wilson Street.
Corbin Police Capt. Rob Jones said as part of an investigation into possible drug activity at the apartment, police executed a search warrant at the apartment. Officers found a white powdery substance, which Jones said tested positive for methamphetamine along with marijuana and two types of prescription drugs.
Earl Wayne Couch, 27, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Danny J. Smith, 28, was charged with possession of marijuana. Monica L. Mills, 29, was charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Jones added several small children were inside the apartment at the time. Police contacted Knox County Social Services who responded to the scene.
Jones was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Glenn Taylor, K-9 Officer Coy Wilson, Cpl. Jim Miller and officers Steve Meadors and John Hill.

the pills r the worst thing not jsut meth
Meth is out of control in our community. Do these people not realize that it is a death sentence!?! Having the young children in the home around such poisons are inexcusable. Wake up people.
