With heavy hearts, we share the future announcement of the funeral services and ceremonies for Theodore M Moses.
Born on October 5, 1929, in the quaint town of Wynnfield, TN, Theodore was a proud Air Force veteran and dedicated farmer in Williamsburg, KY, where he spent many years tending to his land and cultivating a legacy.
Theodore passed away on March 17, 2024, surrounded by family, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. He attended Jellico Creek Baptist Church.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving son, Tim Moses (Melinda); and devoted daughter, Betty Woods (Ford). His memory will also live on through his grandchildren: Bridgette Bridgeman (Danny), Michael Hamlin, Brenda Silverman (Jon), Alex Davis (Gabby), Jessica Davis, Emilie Davis, Jacob Davis, Julia Steinkamp, and Danny Steinkamp (Joni); several great and great great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Steinkamp. Theodore is survived by his sisters, Matilda Cox, Carolyn Moses, Flonnie Bishop; brothers, Kermit Moses (Wendy), Rommell Moses (Aretta), and Carl Moses; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, William Moses and Ruth (Angel) Moses; and wife, Edna (Steinkamp) Moses.
A funeral service to celebrate Theodore’s life will be held at Croley Funeral Home on March 20, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Gerald Mullins and Dr. Max Cox officiating. Prior to the service, a public viewing was held on March 19, at Croley Funeral Home.
He will be laid to rest in the Moses Family – Jellico Creek Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Amvets of Pine Knot, Kentucky.
As we gather to honor his memory, we reflect on the remarkable life of Theodore M. Moses, a man of valor, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family, country, and craft. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts, and through the stories we share, Theodore’s spirit will continue to resonate in the lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
