Thelma Patrick

Thelma Patrick, age 92, of Left Fork Road, Fourmile, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Thelma was born on March 21, 1928 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Bluford and Icie (Sulfridge) Carter. In addition to her parents, Thelma was also preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Patrick; six children, Connie Patrick, Corllis Patrick, Linda Wilson, Jimmy Patrick, Carl Patrick and Lola Elizabeth Patrick; grandchildren, Josh Randall Wilson and Kimberly Collins; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Thelma attended the Liberty Pentecostal Church in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

She is survived by seven children, Phyllis Fore of Williamsburg, Reba Wenger (Ray) of Burlington, Kentucky, Patsy Shelton of Falmouth, Kentucky, Jessie Collins of Williamsburg, Johnny Patrick (Kay) of Fourmile, Kentucky, Teresa Lay (Jonathan) of Holly Hill, Kentucky and Bernice Riga (Mark) of Cleves, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; half-brother, Carl Carter of Corbin; half-sister, Ann Carter of Whitley County, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Friday, January 15, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, at the Croley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Meadors and Wayne Askins officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Williamsburg.
