Student film discourages drinking and driving

Think before you drive: Top, Whitley County High School Video Production class students Leeann White, Flecia Satterfield and John Middleton play drunk students behind the wheel on prom night, who went out looking for a friend, who they would accidently run over and kill. The final scenes of the video were shot on Croley Bend Road Tuesday afternoon. The video will be shown to students Thursday, two days before prom.

Above, Whitley County EMS and Woodbine volunteer firefighters work to cut three drunk students out of a wrecked vehicle on prom night as part of this simulation that was filmed Tuesday to raise awareness about drunk driving prior to the real prom on Saturday night.
